Mark Andrew Weiss – partner, father, brother and son, passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 49 years.

Mark leaves behind the two loves of his life – daughter Tanner Weiss and partner Kyra Dziedzic.
Mark is survived by his mother Eileen Weiss of Sundre AB; siblings Leonora [Kevin], Leonard [Janessa] and Mary, as well as large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Weiss.

Mark was born in Sundre, Alberta on April 6, 1974, graduated from Sundre High School in 1992 and from SAIT in 1997. Mark had a successful 20+ year career with Shell Canada Ltd. across Alberta and approximately 10 years ago, resettled in his home community while working at the Caroline Sour Gas Complex. Mark recently moved to the stunning Crowsnest Pass area, to tackle a new career with Teck Resources Ltd.
Join us for a Celebration of Marks life, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #223 Sundre, Alberta on April 20th, 2024. The celebration will begin at 1:00 p.m. We will toast to Mark at the start of the service.
The Sundre Legion is located at 135 – 6th St SE, Sundre.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to S.T.A.R.S Air Ambulance; a cause that Mark was passionate about throughout his life.
