Red Deer Hospice launches Community Matching Gift Campaign

Red Deer Hospice has partnered with Red Deer Twilight Homes Foundation and an anonymous donor to double the impact of community donations.

The initiative began Feb. 14, 2024, with officials saying every dollar donated will be matched to a maximum of $20,000. According to organizers, all donations made through this community matching initiative will help enhance comfort care of Red Deer Hospice residents.

“We are so fortunate to have the support of incredible community partners to help us raise money for end-of-life care in our community,” said Jerri Taylor, Executive Director at Red Deer Hospice. “It’s great for donors to know that every dollar they give during this campaign will equal two.”

Hospice officials say Red Deer Twilight Homes Foundation has been a long-time supporter of Red Deer Hospice. Officials say they were instrumental in the initial construction of the Hospice facility in 2005, as well as the expansion from 10 to 16 rooms in 2019.
