Fletcher Armstrong passed away, with his beloved wife, Melinda by his side, on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 67 years. Fletcher was born on December 10, 1956, in Biggar, Saskatchewan. He dedicated his career to roofing and restoration with AFF. Fletcher volunteered with the Calgary Grey Cup Committee and the Calgary Stampede for more than forty years. As an avid outdoorsman, Fletcher enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles, and touring North America in his motorhome. He had a knack for restoring vehicles, and could often be found tinkering in his shop, enjoying happy hour with great friends, and spending time with his beloved pets. Fletcher was a big fan of hockey, football, and Nascar. Fletcher will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over fifty years, Melinda; their son, Jason (Shelly); his grandchildren, Brittany, Brett, and Faivah; his two great granddaughters; his step grandson, Nick (Candace); He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Thelma (Regan), Vickie (Greg), and Wanda (Leonard); his brother, Keven, and their families; his sister-in-law, Brenda (Paul) and their families; and his brother-in-law, Roland (Gord). Fletcher was predeceased by his son, Christopher; his father, Ken; his mother, Marie; his father-in-law, Rudy, and his mother-in-law, Anna Marie.
