Evone Louise Monteith

Evone Louise Monteith of Rimbey, Alberta, passed away on Friday January 19, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her circle of love in her last days and went peacefully in her sleep. She will be remembered for her fiery spirit and zest for life. Those close to her knew she enjoyed a good debate and loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. She had many friends from many walks of life. She was a very educated women and enjoyed reading books of numerous topics as well as writing.
She leaves to mourn her mom Louise Pearson of Rimbey, Alberta, brothers Jim Pearson (Donna) of Caroline, Alberta and Rob Pearson (Deb) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, whom she loving called her greats. As well as three daughters Stacey Monteith of Red Deer Alberta, Jaime Wipf (Andy) of Camrose, Alberta, and Terri-Lee Chop of Edmonton, Alberta. She was predeceased by her father George Pearson of Rimbey, Alberta.
Evone loved to travel and lived in many places in Alberta including Rimbey, Edmonton, St. Albert, Red Deer, Ponoka and Camrose.
A celebration of life will be held on February 3rd, 2024 at The Center for Spiritual Living in Red Deer at 10:00 a.m.
Our family would like to thank Red Deer Palliative care and Doctor Horsefall (Ebinezer Medical Clinic) for making her last days comfortable. As well as the numerous friends and family that comforted her with their love and support.
