Terri Lynn Tisdale
Terri was born in the Red Deer Hospital on a very cold, snowy day, February 15, 1979, and passed away in Sylvan Lake on a cold, snowy day on January 16, 2024. She returned with her parents Les and Lynda Tisdale to her home south of Sylvan Lake. Terri attended school in Sylvan Lake making many friends along the way. She graduated from H.J. Cody School in 1996, then headed off to Red Deer College. She worked in Red Deer and Calgary before returning to Sylvan Lake to live and work until her passing.
She loved working at Wild Rapids, especially the people she worked with. Terri had started a fantastic career with OSL when her pain became too much. She spent two years of multiple tests and still had no answers for her pain. Terri was the one to see if you needed a new phone or someone to patiently help you with problems with the one you had. She loved her job and the people she worked with.
Terri spent many years in 4-H and was very good at public speaking as well as the many other projects 4-H had to offer. Terri loved to paint, and her pictures adorn many walls. She loved spending time with her special “Grams”, Frances Schappert, until her passing in 2022. Terri almost always had a pet or two during her short life and leaves behind her precious dog Dozie and kitty Lucy.
Terri is survived by dad and mom, Les and Lynda Tisdale; brothers Kelly (Carolynn), Colin (Melissa) and Shaun; nieces and nephews Tyson, Kylee, Alexis (Matt), Mackenna, Ethan, Travis, Alaina and a new little great nephew Jaxon; aunts and uncles John (Mary) Crosswhite, Myrna (Paul) Duval, Wayne (Carol) Ramsay and Lloyd (Agnes) Ramsay.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Reg and Hilma Tisdale, Vic and Frances (Ramsay) Schappert; brother Jamie; uncles Ed and John Tisdale; cousins Brett Tisdale and John Ramsay; and her husband Jason.
Terri’s family would like to thank all of Terri’s friends for their love and support. There are too many to list and you know who you are.
