Numerous more cold records broken in Alberta on Jan. 13
Environment and Climate Change Canada is confirming another smorgasbord of cold records set on Saturday, Jan. 13, after 38 were set the day prior.
According to the ongoing Extreme Cold Warning, temperatures are expected to range today from -35 to -45, with wind chills down to -50. That will continue overnight and could be worse in some areas.
Patches of ice fog could develop again overnight, while temperatures will begin to moderate on Monday, especially across southern Alberta. Warmer conditions will spread to most of the province by Tuesday afternoon.
