Mrs. Katherine ‘Kathy’ Hocken passed away at the Red Deer Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the age of 68 years. Kathy was born in Rossburn, Manitoba on October 30, 1955 but spent most of her life living in Alberta. She had six children. Kathy worked various jobs, most recently working at the Co-op in the bakery. She was known for being a very happy and silly person. Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Steven, her children, Bradley, Gerald, Kevin, Leslie and Melissa. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Grace, numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Bert, her brother, Harvey, her twin brothers, Raymond and Jimmie, her son, Radford and her loving puppy, Molly. In keeping with Kathy’s wishes a Funeral Service will not be held. If desired, Memorial Donations in Kathy’s honor may be made directly to the Cancer Society at cancer.ca.
