It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son Tristan Oliver Johnson on December 2nd, 2023 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital; also, the place of his birth. Tristan’s passing has left a huge hole in our hearts.

Survived by his loving wife Kristen and treasured daughter Lauren; parents Keith and Lynne; brother Ben; sister Stephanie; niece Kyera and many aunts’ uncles and cousins in the UK. Also, parents in law Ray and Mary; brother in law Bryan (Angie) and nephew Max; and his trustee companion “Ollie”.

Pre-survived by his loving grandparents Charles and Margaret, Alec and Elsie; lifelong friends Orval and Hazel; and dogs Kadin, Jester and Gilbert.

Tristan had a zest for life – enjoying family time with daughter Lauren, the core of his universe; teaching her valuable life skills from an early age. Always to be found in the outdoors riding the trails with Lauren, or with his retriever Ollie by his side; golfing with friends; enjoying the oceans of British Columbia and Nova Scotia; or just hanging out with friends at home. An avid cook – Tristan took great pride in growing his own herbs and vegetables, and preparing meals for family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 15th at 11am, at the Red Deer Funeral Home and Celebration Centre at 6150 – 67 Street, Red Deer, AB T4P 3M1, followed by light refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are invited to donate to a health charity of their choice.
