It is with incredible sadness that the family of Rachelle Anne Meeres announce her passing on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the age of 34 years. Rachelle was born on March 28, 1989 in Calgary, Alberta. Her family moved to Red Deer in 1991, where Rachelle resided until her passing.
Rachelle had an affinity with nature. She loved all beasts big and small, including every sort of spider. She had a special bond with the family dog, often her best friend and confidant.
Rachelle valued learning and, despite her struggles, she maintained a positive outlook for the future and had established many goals. Rachelle was a loving person who could see the good in everyone.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Michael and Marie Meeres, her sister, Danielle Pendergast (Sean), her nephews, Owen and Ethan, her grandfather, Lyle Meeres and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
