Darlene Laverdure of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully in her sleep, with family by her side, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the age of 58 years. Darlene was born on December 5, 1964, at Dryden, Ontario to her parents, Ann and Gary Laverdure. Darlene loved her family and friends deeply, and valued the relationships she made far more than money. She was kind, caring, compassionate and selfless, all traits that her family adored about her. Darlene also loved Christmas, and it was her favorite time of the year. She also enjoyed camping. Darlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bjarne Egelandsdal, her son, Michael Laverdure, her brother, Darrin Laverdure and her sisters, Diane ‘DeeDee’ Laverdure and Debbie (Doug) Bilowus. Darlene was predeceased by both of her parents and her brother, Delbert Laverdure. A Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be held at a later date.
