It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joy Annabelle Godin, on November 10, 2023. Born in Harrington Quebec, Canada, to Edna Deslaurier, and Lyman Broomfield. The family migrated out west to Alberta, where Joy eventually found her home in Didsbury. She is survived by her son Keith, and grandsons Alexander and Anthony Godin. Joy is predeceased by her late husband Raymond, and sons Earl, Brent and Luke Godin. Joy loved her family, community, and never stopped pushing to help others with her cheerful spirit, baked goods, and of course her stories. She will be deeply missed.
