Theodore (Tex) Alexander Worobetz
Born June 25, 1930 in Tofield, Alberta to Alexander and Anna Worobetz of Warburg, Alberta
Tex was the third of seven kids.
At the age of 14 Tex went to work for a cousin in Saskatchewan. In 1947/48 Tex hopped the train to Toronto, Ontario where he worked for wrestler “SkyHigh Lee” breaking horses. In 1951 Tex rode a horse, exchanging horses(dealing) along the way, back to Longview, Alberta. Tex stayed and worked on ranches in Longview, Millarville, Priddis areas until in 1961 when Tex was able to purchase land west of Bergen on the Nitchi Creek. Tex resided with his wife Maureen on the Nitchi Valley Ranch until his passing. In 1971 Tex married Arla Maureen McBeath of Olds, Alberta. They had three children. Frank, born and passed 1972. Sharon Linda born 1973. Alexander Ralph born 1976. Tex was predeceased by both parents, brothers and sister. Survived by loving wife Maureen, Daughter Sharon (Gary), Son Alex (Tamara), Grandkids Alyssa (Matthew), Curtis, Great Granddaughter Ruth.
