Kirsten passed away on July 10^th, 2023 at the age of 84 years.  She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, the youngest of 10 girls.

Kirsten met her husband Roy in 1953 while he was on holidays in Copenhagen.  Upon arrival to Canada, Kirsten and Roy moved around the country to accommodate his Armed Forces status as a Firefighter.

Kirsten pursued a career in Hairstyling and eventually became Director of Marvel College until her retirement.

When Roy passed away in 2013 they had been married 56 years.

Kirsten is survived by her daughter Heidi (Steve), grandson Tyler (Lindsey), step-granddaughter Candice (Tyler), and niece Pernille (Jens).

Also left to cherish her memory, her very special friends Louise and Andrew MacPherson, and their 3 children Kirsteen, Stacey and Alex.

A memorial tea will be announced at a later date.
