Simensen, Margaret May

20 March 1945 to 4 July 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother at the age of 78. Born in Mirror, Alberta, Margaret settled in Victoria where she met and married Erik. She worked for Canada Post for over 30 years, retiring at 60. Margaret loved to travel and enjoyed the cabin at the lake, especially with her grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Erik, parents Percy and May Boyd, and sister Roberta Harrison. Margaret is survived by her sons; Brian and Earl, grandchildren; Aleah, Ethan, Robyn and Brendan, sister; Geannette Gingrich, and brothers; Allan, Joe and Richard Boyd. Loved by all who met her Margaret will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held in Metchosin, BC, on August 19, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please donate to BC guide dogs or the SPCA.
