It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank John Greba on Monday July 3, 2023, at the age of 82.

Frank is survived by his wife Carolyn and children Nick (Tammy), Michael (Stela), Karen (John), Brad (Dawn) and sister Elizabeth. Frank loved and was proud of his 13 grandchildren Blair, Julie, Monica, Sophie, Eldar, Branden, Justin, Morgan, Mackenzie, John, Thomas, Frank, Barry, Ashleigh and his 14 great-grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Ann Greba, two sons, Barry, Allan and siblings Stan, Sam, Nick, Joe, John, Mike, Marie, Stephanie, Lillian and Theresa.

Frank was born on the farm near Verigin Saskatchewan and from a young boy enjoyed working long hours in the fields supporting his family and the surrounding neighbors. Frank always enjoyed being outdoors – hunting, trapping and fishing. Frank came to Alberta at the age of 19 and worked for the railway in Calgary, soon after he moved to Red Deer and began his lifelong career in the oil field. Frank and Carolyn met each other in Red Deer and married in 1963. They had many family adventures together creating many memories over the years. Frank was happiest when surrounded by all his family. He had a passion for life and shared his kind, caring heart with everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.

Frank will be missed and forever in our hearts.

Frank was a man of faith. It brings us peace knowing he is with our Heavenly Father.

A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
