Lutz, Steven B.

1958-2023

 

Steven B. Lutz, 64, passed away on June 4, 2023.

Steve was born on September 25, 1958, to Norma and Godfred Lutz in Red Deer, Alberta. He grew up on a farm outside of Innisfail and had fond memories of his grandpa and family there.

He started working in high school, earning enough to order a Black Ford Mustang, that saw a lot of miles. He delivered bread for many years after this. He started Worry Free Transport and was the owner/operator until selling it in 2022.

After retiring in 2022 he spent the winter in Arizona, shopping and enjoying valued time with friends and family.

Steve enjoyed time with family, watching sports (especially the Edmonton Elks ), driving his SSR, shopping and chicken burgers.

He is survived by his children and their spouses: Christy and Micheal McKay, Christopher ‘Ryan’ and Brittany Lutz, Cameron and Ashley Lutz; grandchildren: Anastasia, Xavier, Elizabeth, Xander, Daphne and baby 2023. He is also, survived by his siblings and their spouses: Judy and Ernie Semenyna, Duane and Carolee Lutz, Teresa and Ethan Clark; their children and grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held in his honour.

He will be laid to rest in the Innisfail Columbarium.

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, the family requests may be made in Steven’s name to Stars, an organization Steve felt strongly about.
