It is with profound sadness that we must announce the passing of Wendy Elizabeth Willdig on May 6, 2023. Wendy was born on the 18th of June 1948 in Lamont, Alberta. Her very early life was in the Edmonton area. Her family then moved to Calgary where Wendy completed her schooling and entered nursing training at the Foothills Hospital. She graduated as a Registered Nurse and worked for a short time at the Foothills Hospital. Wendy lived the rest of her life in Didsbury. She loved her family deeply, the outdoors, pictures, and entertaining. Left to miss her desperately are her husband Mark; daughter Krista (Bob); grandson Nate; granddaughter Emma; son Geoff (Jessica); granddaughter Amethyst; step daughter Kerry (Geoff); grand daughters Leonie and Isla; stepson Colin (Katie) and grandsons Lucas and Lincoln, plus all of her many friend and relatives.
