William Robert "Bill" Parkins

William Robert “Bill” Parkins of Red Deer, AB passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the age of 81years.
Bill was born in Rimbey, AB, he lived a full life. Bill worked 40 years in the dairy business in central Alberta and enjoyed buying and selling vehicles for many years. Bill was an active member on several Boards with his local church, as well as on Boards at the District level. He enjoyed the last few years spending time between his prairie home in Red Deer, AB and his mountain home in Pemberton, BC.
Bill will be forever remembered by his daughters; Michelle (Christian) Staehli of Pemberton, BC, and Kimberly (Randy) Friesen of Red Deer, AB. Papa Bill will be missed by his grandchildren; Summer, Sean, Azalea and Jairus. Lovingly remembered by his brother, sister and many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Vivian Parkins and his parents Clifford and Annie Parkins.
A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2 – McVicar Street, Red Deer, AB on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene, 2 – McVicar St., Red Deer AB T4N 0M1 or to the Pemberton Community Church, PO Box 301, Pemberton BC V0N 2L0.
