Will was born in Red Deer; the first born of Kim and Jeff. He lived west of Bowden for a half year before the Walton family permanently moved to Bearberry. . What a fantastic place to grow! Willy was soon joined by two very special people – his sibs Kathabasca and Macky. Will developed cherished friendships with his neighbours and classmates at Sundre’s elementary and high schools. Will loved animating, drawing and creating things that made people smile and laugh. To pursue a career doing what he loved, Will graduated from Vancouver Film School Animation program in 2008. Headquartered at his Sunalta Condo, Will enjoyed the excitement and adventure of Calgary’s city life. Will and his folks were extremely fortunate to spend tons of time together over the last few years. Will loved being with family and friends. Everyone who crossed paths with Will, and his eccentric, kind, and eternally optimistic nature, is so much better off because of it.
Will leaves behind his parents Kim Walton and Jeff Walton, his sister Kathleen Craven (Richard Craven), his brother Mackenzie Walton (Erin Elser), his niece and nephew Rupert and Elizabeth Walton, and many Walton and Kornylo aunts, uncles and cousins most notably, William’s grandmother Audrey Kornylo who is grieving the loss of her second oldest grandson.
