It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. Jean passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband and family after courageous battle with cancer. Jean and her husband Wayne were married in St. John’s, Newfoundland on August 22, 1986. Together they raised a blended family of eight children. They moved to Olds, Alberta where they worked and operated several businesses. Jean was a fun-loving lady who was committed to her family. She was the glue that held her family together in good times as well as the bad times. A love of life and a great sense of humour is what made her special. Jean was predeceased by her parents Michael and Annie Broomfield, Son Silvy, Grandson Anthony, Brothers Frank, Leo, Lou and Michael, Brother in-law Bernard and first husband Silvy Clarke Sr. Leaving to morn her blended family. Her loving husband Wayne, Daughters Juanita, Charlotte (Chris), Corrina (Keith) and Wanda (Albert) Sons Lenny (Kathy), Wayne Jr (Sherry) and Corey (Ashley) Daughter in-law Janie. 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nephew and nieces. Brother Gerald (Phoebe) Sisters Mildred, Rita, Judy (Don).
