Carol Ann Maki

Carol Ann (Arb) Maki of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, on December 8th, 2022 at the age of 73 years. Carol was born and raised in Red Deer and lived there most of her life. Carol suffered from serious health issues during the last 20 plus years and lived in long-term care for the last nine months. Carol Survived on positivity and maple cookies and will be missed by all who knew her.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her son Troy Maki (Shelley); her daughter Kristy Maki; her brother David Arb (Brenda); her sister Brenda Hankins (Paul); her three grandchildren Haley, Cassidy, and Breanna; her two great grandchildren Hunter and Jaxon; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and faithful friends. Carol was predeceased by her husband Lorne.
A private family service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, through their website at www.heartandstroke.ca.
