Canadian Cancer Society doubles impact for people with cancer on GivingTuesday

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) has announced it has secured an exciting $50,000 match for GivingTuesday donations in support of their Holiday Campaign.
Here are the details:
- On November 29, 2022, the world’s largest generosity movement, GivingTuesday, will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Canadians across the country will be looking for unique and meaningful ways to help others or honour loved ones through a charitable donation.
- At CCS, Canadians have the chance to double their impact for people affected by cancer on GivingTuesday. From November 22 to 29, with the help of a generous anonymous donor, donations to CCS will be matched up to $50,000.
- Cancer never takes a holiday. An estimated 2 in 5 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and while many people are enjoying the holiday season, others are still being diagnosed with cancer. Donations to the CCS matter now as much as ever.
