Mr. Gary Marcel Bodson passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the age of 68 years. Gary was born in Peterborough, Ontario on December 22, 1953. He was raised as a ‘Valley Boy’ in Sudbury, Ontario, later moving to Edmonton, Alberta, and eventually to Red Deer, Alberta, where he began his employment for over twenty years with Gregg Distributors. He retired as Manager at their Red Deer Office. Gary loved all sports; however, his passion was watching the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Team. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rockie Mayes; his son, Lucas Schid; his daughter, Chelsey Bodson and his grandson, Benjamin. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Colleen Bodson, and Lana Blouin. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Marcel and Bernadette Bodson and a sister, Linda Proulx.
