Constance Elizabeth (Connie) Freschette of Red Deer County, Alberta passed away in the early morning hours of October 11, 2022 at the age of 95 years.
Connie lived a long and wide-ranging life. Born in Edmonton in 1927, she was raised mostly in Vermillion, Alberta, where her father owned a creamery. Even as a youth, she was known for her bravery, often challenging the boys in ski jumping and other outdoor sports.
Connie had a strong artistic side. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano. She also had a passion for horses and antiquing – buying antiques but no so much selling them.
Connie is survived by husband Fred Freschette; sons David Allison (Cindy Peters) and Colin Allison (Susan Allison); grandchildren Ariel Allison, Aaron Allison (Rachelle), William Harder, Shana Allison Allenbach, Krystal Allison and Daylen Allison; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Ian Allison.
In accordance with Connie’s wishes, no public memorial service will be held.
