Mr. Rickey ‘Rick’ Olaf Wikman passed away in Red Deer, Alberta, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 66 years. Rick worked as a self-employed building contractor, a job he loved and wanted to keep doing until age 75. He joked that he would die on scaffolding with a Hilti in his hand. Rick always had a love for music and will be remembered through his favorite tunes. Our Rick became ill in the spring and left us in the fall. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Alannah Noviks; his children, Jasmine, Calvin and Reanne; his grandchildren, Braeden, Audrey, Tyler and Reece; brothers, Darwin (Bev) and Mike (Sherry). Rick was predeceased by his parents, Olaf and Audrey Wikman. Rick will be missed by all, but time stands still for no man.
