It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Mr. Carl Kenneth Anderson at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Carl was born on April 5, 1952, the only child of Robert and Marjorie ‘Lois’ Anderson. He was raised and resided in the Willowdale Community in the Red Deer County. Carl was an amazing father, friend, and confidant in the community. He always had a great story to tell, and was that neighbour that would just show up unannounced sometimes for no reason, just to let you know he was thinking of you. Carl’s passions included but not limited to his family and friends, horses, livestock, camping and working on his ranch with his dogs, Duke and Vayah. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. If love could have cured him, he would have lived forever. Carl will be sadly missed by his children, Laura, Michelle, Tracy, Kelly and Jacoby; and his five special grandchildren, Tyra, Kaiden, Shaela, Cassius and Corbin. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Robert H. and Marjorie ‘Lois’ Anderson. A Celebration of Carl’s Life will be held at the Willowdale Community Centre, 37241 Range Road 264, Red Deer County, Alberta on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Eulogy read at 4:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Carl’s honor may be made directly to the Ronald McDonald House at www.rmhc.org.
