Jesse “Irene” Bowd (nee Scott), on September 13, 2022, at the age of 90 years, closed her eyes and went to be with her Lord. Irene was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan on October 19, 1931 to Irving and Janet Scott. Irene was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lois (Bowd) Sterner (Harold Braun), William Bowd (Barbie Vold-Bowd), Lorraine (Bowd) Boulton, Terry Bowd (Theresa de Rox), Wayne Bowd (Fay) and Karen (Bowd) Bettger (Don), her grandchildren, Chris Braun (Lori), Alysse Bowd (Robin Lambert), Gradyn Bowd, Bretton Bowd, Teresa Frentz (Mark), Krystal Hansen, Myrriah Goldade (Michael), Justin Bowd, Ryan Malaryk (Kelsie), Jamie Bettger and, Janell Bettger (Keith), as well as her seventeen great grandchildren. Irene is also survived by her sisters, Audrey Ashmead and Shirley Geddes (Dave), a brother, Irving Scott (Alice) and a sister-in-law Phyllis Scott. Irene was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Chester, Vern, and Clayton, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Scott.
