Mr. Adam Carl Weinrauch of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 87 years. He is now able to join his loving wife, Alberta who passed away on October 8, 2017. They were married for fifty-three years.
Adam was born in Lampman, Saskatchewan to his parents, Anton and Clementine Weinrauch.
Upon leaving school, Adam worked on the family farm and did work for other farmers in the Lampman area.
He then joined the Oilfield and spent the better part of the next fifty years moving around where the work took him, before settling down in Brooks, Alberta in 1972. In 1976, Adam built and established his own company known as, Adam’s Oilfield Services. He then retired in 2005.
He was a member of the Oilmen’s Club, the Legion and the ELKS. He enjoyed bowling, curling, fishing, golfing and his grandchildren. He was always ready to babysit his grandkids.
He was a caring grandfather, always making time for his grandchildren, whether it was watching their sports, activities, or minding them while the girls went to Bingo or to do other things. In the latter years, he could always be found sitting in his lazy chair, watching the Blue Jays Baseball games. A passion introduced to him even more after his son, Carl took him and Alberta to live events in Seattle.
Adam leaves to mourn his children: his daughters, Charlene (and David Benci), Colleen (and David Skanderup), Barbara (and Paul Masson) and his son, Carl ( Bev) Weinrauch; his eight grandchildren and his fifteen great grandchildren: Kim (Elliot), Karlee, Leah and Lexi MacMillan; Kevin, Alyssa and Jaiden Skanderup; Daniel (Jessica), Dahlia and Ashton Benci; Aaron (Caitlin) and Lily Benci; Michael (Erin), Rowen and Kaeden Benci; Adam MacDonald; Devin MacDonald, Austin and Madison; Brendan (Reba), Jude, Alexis and Liam MacDonald; Frankie (Matt) and Atlas Talbot; Shelby, Doulton and Hunter. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers: Kathy Wanner, Theresa (Harley) Jahn, Stanley (Jocelyn) Weinrauch, Frank and Conrad.
Adam was predeceased by his wife Alberta: parents: Anton and Clementine Weinrauch, and his sisters: Cecilia, Elizabeth, Agnes and Brothers: Matt and John.
