Jocelyn Peterman to compete in PointsBet Invitational

Red Deer’s Jocelyn Peterman is competing in the upcoming PointsBet Canada Invitational.

Taking place at Willie O’Ree Place in Fredericton, N.B. starting Sept. 21, the event brings together some of Canada’s best men’s and women’s curlers to chase a massive purse of $350,000.

Peterman will play on the second-seeded Team Kaitlyn Lawes, alongside the two-time Olympic gold medalist Lawes, plus Selena Njegovan and Kristin MacCuish.

Team Lawes will face off against a team led by Emily Deschenes on day one, with win or go home matches over that weekend before the final on Sunday the 25th.
