Elnora man charged in double fatal crash near Trochu

Three Hills RCMP have arrested and charged a male in connection with a motor vehicle collision on June 17, 2022, which resulted in two fatalities.
Richard Douglas Bell, 42, of Elnora, AB, has been charged with the following offences:
- Dangerous operation causing death x2
- Impaired operation causing death x2
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
- Refusal to provide sample
Richard Bell has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Drumheller Provincial Court on June 24, 2022.
