1942 ~ Mr. Anthony Chaulk ~ 2022 "However, his family will always be grateful for the months it allowed them to be with his family, to talk, to laugh, to listen, to remember, and to say and hear things that needed to be said and heard."

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Anthony Chaulk in the evening hours, with his wife, Joan, his son, Scott and his daughter-in-law, Shelly at his side, on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the age of 79 years. He had a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Anthony was a strong and quiet man who loved his entire family with his whole heart. He was always there for every one of us. Always! His love for his wife, Joan, was unparalleled. They were soulmates and each other’s shadow. His journey started in Newfoundland, where he resided until a move to Alberta in 1980. Anthony made a life in Fort McMurray, and upon his retirement, he and Joan decided Red Deer would be their place of choice, where their home remains today. Cancer is a cruel disease. However, his family will always be grateful for the months it allowed them to be with his family, to talk, to laugh, to listen, to remember, and to say and hear things that needed to be said and heard. Anthony will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate of fifty-five years, Joan, his sons, Shawn (Tanya) of Fort McMurray and their children, Spencer, Maria, and Phoenix; Glenn (Corinne) of Fort McMurray and their children, Dustin (Michelle), and Jacy (Matthew Steer); Scott (Natasha) of Calgary and their children, Manchester and Niamh; Geoff (Shelly) of Red Deer and their children, Hudson, Ryder, Cash and Ever. Anthony will also be sadly missed by his sister, Jean in Newfoundland, as well as many other in-laws and relatives across the country. Anthony’s family would like to thank Dr. Myburg and staff, the In-Home Caregivers from Alberta Health Services, the doctors and nurses at the Red Deer Cancer Clinic, Nurse Next Door and the Parkland Funeral Home. Your compassion and professionalism were appreciated. Thanks to Susan and Dave Wester for the dinner you brought our family, and all of you who have already reached out with messages, texts, flowers, and love. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
