Rebels select two at 2022 WHL U.S. Priority Draft
The Red Deer Rebels selected two players at the 2022 Western Hockey League U.S. Priority Draft on Wednesday.
With the 14th overall pick in round one, the Rebels selected Jeramiah Roberts, a forward from Monument, Colorado. In 46 games played in 2021-22 with the Colorado Rampage U14 AAA, Roberts had 26 goals and 20 assists for 49 points, along with 82 penalty minutes.
With the 31st overall pick in round two, the Rebels selected Quinten Flores, a defenceman from Arvada, Colorado. In 60 games played in 2021-22 with the Colorado Thunderbirds U14 AAA, Flores had 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points, along with 50 penalty minutes.
