Mrs. Helen Lorraine Krause (née Woznock), of Edmonton, Alberta passed away in Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Helen was an avid gardener and loved to travel. Her fondest memories were of her many trips to Europe (Switzerland, France, Italy and England), Costa Rica, and Hawaii and camping and exploring nature. Her dedication to picking and home canning of fruits, berries, jams, and other things was much appreciated, and her love of Polish/Ukrainian Cuisine was passed along to her children. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her two children and their spouses, Keith (Jennifer) of Switzerland, and Terry (Liz) of Red Deer, her two grandchildren, Nathalie and Nicolas, her three step-grandchildren (Alexandra, James and Jennifer), and her sister, Louise. Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Vera and Olga. At her request, no service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
