Didsbury RCMP release update on missing man

Didsbury RCMP believe the remains of a missing man may have been found.

Officials are advising the public that human remains have been located, which are believed to be those of Ryan Sutherland, 44, of Didsbury, Alberta.

On April 3, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Search and Rescue located the remains in a wooded area. The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation by Southern Alberta Serious Crimes Unit. An autopsy has been ordered by the office of the Chief Medical Examiner and is scheduled for April 6.
