Eugene "Gene" Richard Munro

The family of Eugene “Gene” Richard Munro of Delburne, Alberta, are saddened to announce his passing on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at the young age of 49 years.
Gene was born in Red Deer, Alberta and lived his life in Delburne, Alberta. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast and a sports lover, enjoying anything from camping, fishing, hunting, dirt biking, curling, baseball and hockey, he was there.
Gene will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Marsha Noël and grandchildren Quinton and Alix from Camrose, Alberta; Derik (Christina) Munro and grandson Tucker from Red Deer, Alberta; daughter Kayla (George) Whaley and grandchildren Darius, Ashtyn, Danika-Mae, and Abel from Calgary, Alberta. He is also survived by his mother Agnus Munro and brother James Munro, both from Delburne, Alberta as well as numerous other family members and friends. Gene was predeceased by his father Robert Munro of Delburne, Alberta and his sister Louise Weidner of Lacombe, Alberta.
Forever in our hearts, Gene will be missed by many.
A private family celebration of Gene’s life will take place at a later date.
