Renegades win gold at Edmonton’s Slush Cup

Congratulations go out to the U13 Girls Red Deer Renegades for capturing a gold medal at the EWZSA Slush Cup indoor soccer tournament in Edmonton over the weekend.
The Renegades defeated Chinook’s FC 10 Red Stars in a shootout after a scoreless tie in regulation time on Sunday.
The Renegades also defeated the WHU United Rockets 4-0 on Saturday, and Scottish U13GT2 Lashsley 5-1 on Sunday, en route to their championship victory.
The Slush Cup is described as the Largest Indoor Soccer Tournament in North America, and includes Boys and Girls teams from U9 – U17, Tier 1 to Tier 5.
