Mr. Clifford John Sever passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Clifford was born, March 6, 1939, and raised on his family farm at the Strachan District, Alberta. He was a third-generation cattle farmer, and he attended Pleasantvale School, as well as Rocky High School. After school, he worked at various lumber camps in British Columbia and mostly lumber camps in the Rocky Mountain House area. Clifford cleared an agriculture quarter and sawed all of the timber off of it, starting his farming career. Family gatherings and Sunday meals were always an enjoyment, as well as late night poker games with his friends and neighbors. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Joan Hole of Campbell River, British Columbia, Shirley Hamilton and Audrey Gaetz of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Clifford was predeceased by a daughter, Janett, a son-in-law, Duane Lamash, a sister, Betty and her husband, Ray Moberg; a brother, Jim and his wife, Fern Smith and his brothers-in-law, Jim Hamilton and Lorne Gaetz.
