Traffic Hazard: Large bridge beam blocking Highway 2A

A large bridge beam has fallen off a truck and is stalling traffic on Highway 2A.

Ponoka RCMP are currently on scene, confirming the beam is blocking the Highway 2A Southbound off ramp onto the QEII South of Morningside.

Mounties have redirected Southbound traffic on Highway 2A onto Highway 604.

RCMP are expecting this obstruction to take a few hours to be removed.
