Starla Ann Martin passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the age of 39 years. With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Starla, born on January 28, 1982 to her mother, Wendy Lee Martin and father, Lou Novak. From the day she was born, Starla was truly a star. She had a smile that could illuminate the darkest of rooms, and a passionate, vibrant soul to match. Starla was a gift, and everyone who knew her was blessed. By no means did she have an easy life. From a young age, her life was hard but she never let it dim her smile or colorful personality. Starla was very resilient, strong, and hopeful and always had more love to share with the world than it would give back. She would do anything for her family and friends. Starla will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Kade and Timmy, her brothers, Axel and Rory, her step-father Tim Grant and many friends that she made over the years. Starla was predeceased by her mother, Wendy Lee Martin, and her father, Lou Novak. Starla Ann Martin’s memory will live on and be cherished forever.
