Connie May Tomalty

Connie May Tomalty (nee Williams) of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 61 years.
Connie was born in November 1960, spent her childhood at Ferintosh, Alberta and moved with her family to Red Deer in 1971. She married Gerald Tomalty in 1979 and they lived in the Waskasoo District of Red Deer County where, for the past 24 years, they operated Red Deer Pet Cremation Service. Connie and Gerald were active members of Balmoral Bible Chapel and later of First Baptist Church in Red Deer for all of their married lives.
Connie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gerald and their children Michael (Jenn) of Medicine Hat, Adam, and Alex, both of Red Deer; as well as by her mother, Dorothy Williams also of Red Deer; and brother, Roger (Beth) Williams of Grande Prairie. Connie was predeceased by her father, Clark, in 2011; grandmother Ivy Hodgkinson in 1973; and grandfather Fred Hodgkinson in 1981. Also mourning her passing are Gerald’s siblings Kathy (Lester) Gurnett of Airdrie; Keith (Anne) Tomalty, Neil (Vera) Tomalty and John (Laurie) Tomalty of Red Deer; Donna (John) Armstrong of Bigstone, Alberta; and Wayne (Shauna) Tomalty of Edmonton.
MEMORIAL SERVICE RESCHEDULED
A memorial service for Connie will be held at CrossRoads Church in Red Deer. Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be by invitation only. Everyone else is welcome to view the service live on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1:00 pm at www.crossroadschurch.ca/livefunerals.
