Alberta Health says test positivity rate roughly 30 per cent

Alberta Health says preliminary estimates indicate roughly 4,000 new cases of COVID-19 throughout the province on Thursday.

Officials further estimate a test positivity rate of roughly 30 per cent, with 371 individuals now in hospital, up 22 from Wednesday, and 48 of those patients in ICU, down nine from the day before.

Alberta Health says regular reporting will resume on Jan. 4, 2022.
