Her son Martin
She will be missed beyond measure by:

Her son-in-law Denny (Ellen)
Her 11 grandchildren
Her 19 great-grandchildren
Her three great-great-grandchildren

And numerous family and friends
Laura devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, always putting them ahead of herself. She enjoyed being with family and friends, animals, growing flowers, and crocheting. Her goal was to crochet all of her great-grandchildren a blanket, usually given as a wedding gift.
Laura enjoyed this last year living at the West Park Lodge. She would jokingly tell the rec leader that the only reason she showed up for exercises was to get a cup of coffee. She would often say, “The girls are so good to me.” She continued crocheting beautiful blankets for great-grandchildren.
“The family chain is broken and nothing will be the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”
A memorial will be held in Kelowna, BC, where Laura resided a majority of her life, on April 14 of 2022. Laura will be laid to rest in Kelowna with her husband Forrest and son Herold.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Condolences for Laura’s family may be forwarded to meaningful@telus.net.
