It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mr. James ‘Jim’ Robert Pierson on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre at the age of 51 years. Jim grew up mainly in central Alberta attending school in Red Deer and Lacombe. He always loved to fix and tinker with anything, which led to a career as an R.V. Technician when he received his Journeyman Ticket in 1991. His knowledge helped make the families business, Barb’s R.V, a success. Jim was a very kind man with a great sense of humor. He loved watching sports, especially his favorite teams, The Calgary Flames and the Stampeders, listening to his favorite music along with camping and fishing. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Darrel and Barb Pierson, his twin brother Darrel Pierson Jr., his sisters, Shauna (Murray) Phillips, Crystal (Shaun) Johnson, his grandparents, Ed and Verna Schmidt along with numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Jim was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Ellen and Frank Loewen, grandad and grandma Bob and Tillie Grayson, grandma and Grandpa Maudie and Jay Pierson, and grandmother Margaret Grayson. We would like to thank everyone who reached out and tried to help him over the years. In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Jim’s honor may be made directly to the Safe Harbour Society at www.safeharboursociety.org. The family will be having a private gathering in Jim’s memory at a later date.
