Brendalee was born in Medicine Hat. She attended school in Brooks, Fort St. John, and Red Deer. She lived in Red Deer for many years working at a variety of jobs in the public sector and with people who have disabilities. Brendalee had a love for animals, particularly dogs. She enjoyed walking her dog and other dogs in the neighbourhood. Brendalee liked to volunteer her time helping other’s out when she could. She loved spending time with friends and family especially if they had little children that she could interact with. As her pain increased over the past months her fear of death had not.
