What began as a small business in 1997 – operated out of a basement and garage – has evolved to become one of Central Alberta’s true success stories! Canadian Closet specializes in organizational products for every room in your home. Over the past twenty-four years, Canadian Closet has expanded its retail store to include garage organization, added a manufacturing facility for custom cabinetry and Murphy Beds, and become the exclusive dealer for Phantom Screens in Central Alberta. Recently, Canadian Closet became the exclusive dealer for Organized Living closet shelving.

At Canadian Closet, they believe it is essential to support Red Deer and Central Alberta because it’s home. Born and raised here, owners Lisa and Terry value the strong ties they have with the community and look forward to building new relationships as Red Deer continues to grow.

Says Lisa, “Over the years, we have continued to support many different causes, groups, charities, sports teams, and individuals.”

To name a few, although all are important, Canadian Closet has – for many years – donated to the Red Deer Regional Hospital’s Festival of Trees, sponsored a local competitive junior curling team, donated products and services to a family whose home was destroyed by fire, donated to charity golf tournaments, the Rotary Club Black Tie Bingo, Predator’s Rugby, Ronald McDonald House, the Pregnancy Care Centre, and many other worthwhile causes.

When asked what people find most surprising about Canadian Closet, Terry is quick to say, “People are often surprised to hear that Canadian Closet is not a franchise!” Canadian Closet has one location in south Red Deer and has remained locally owned and operated by one family and their amazing staff for its entire 24 years of operation.

Recently, Canadian Closet moved to their “forever” location in the Clearview Industrial Park – just south of the City of Red Deer Landfill, past the Jumbo Car Wash and Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic.
