It is with love and sadness that we say good-bye to Tom Sypkes, Sr. who passed on peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on September 20th, 2021. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Clarice Lomavatu (Paul), Harvey Sypkes (Connie), grandchildren, Thomas Sypkes (Joelle), Jesse Sypkes (Charmaine), Robert Lomavatu, Sarah Holland (Alex), Avikali Lomavatu, Ana Lomavatu, Steven Sypkes (Wendy), Naomi Lomavatu, and great-grand-children, Elenya, Blaire, Isaac and Elyse. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Henny Sypkes, and his grandson, Aaron Lomavatu.
A memorial service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church, 16 McVicar Street, Red Deer, on September 25th, at 1 o’clock.
Due to current COVID restrictions, Tom’s celebration of life will be limited to in-person invitations, and his service will be life-streamed at the same time with a link to the service available afterwards as well.
