1940 ~ Grenville "Glen" Alfred Marienhoff ~ 2021 "His passion was to drive a very large truck".

Glen was born in Arborfield, Saskatchewan on September 13, 1940 to Alfred and Hazel Marienhoff in a small town where everybody knew each other and in a different time. Glen passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the age of 81 years. His passion was to drive a very large truck. He started his career at 14 years old driving a hay truck and later hauling gravel and logs for John Livingston of Arborfield, Saskatchewan. He later delivered propane in the Carstairs area and eventually onto the oilfield for Bob Miller Trucking of Airdrie. He then worked for Millard Trucking of Sundre until he retired in 2005. Glen enjoyed camping, fishing at Pine Lake, and other areas in B.C., SK and AB. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Ann of 55 years; children Travis (Jo), Lori; grandchildren Harley and Odin; daughter-in-law Sherri; sisters Joan, Linda; brother Dale; sisters-in-law Marlene and Shirley and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded by his parents; brothers Buzz, Keith and Al; sister Irma; brothers-in-law Joe and Frank. A private celebration of Glen’s life was held. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the S.T.A.R.S Air Ambulance or Olds Hospital Long Term Care. The family would like to thank the staff at the Olds Long Term Care for the exceptional care for Glen and being with them on this journey.
