Red Deer with 861 active cases of COVID-19
Red Deer has 861 active cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, a drop of 54 active cases from Monday where a new record was set for the city at 915.
The previous high was 911 on May 8 at the peak of the third wave.
Recoveries are listed at 6,924 – up 98, as Red Deer added 46 new COVID cases over the past day for a total of 7,845 since the pandemic began.
Red Deer’s active case rate is currently 809.2 per 100,000 people, compared to 261.8 for the City of Calgary and 305.6 for the City of Edmonton.
