Mr. Alexander Stuart Yule of Blackfalds, Alberta, formerly of Burlington, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Alex was born November 25, 1957 to Frederick and Margaret (nee Cummins) Yule and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. He was graduated from the University of Guelph, studying Supply Chain Management at the age of 50 years. Alex moved to Blackfalds, Alberta in 2014 and was hired as a key leader at Quinn Pumps in Red Deer, Alberta. Alex, who was an avid golfer, loved to serve his community with love and passion by serving in various boards for the Blackfalds Town Council and was currently running in the Mayoral Race for the Town of Blackfalds, Alberta. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cheryl Yule of Blackfalds, Alberta; his two daughters, and his two sons, Kendra Langis of Sarnia, Ontario, Brandon Yule of Sarnia, Ontario, Yvonne (John) Leah of Arizona and Morgan Anderson (Chandra Moyer) of Smithville, Ontario; his grandchildren, Harlly Langis and Wyatt Langis, both of Sarnia, Ontario, Hendrix Anderson, Lincoln Anderson and Rowan Anderson all Smithville, Ontario and Jane Leach of Arizona. He will also be sadly missed by his two brothers, Fred Yule of Brampton, Ontario, and John (Dorothy) Yule of Barrie, Ontario. He was predeceased by, son-in-law, Shawn Langis, his brothers, Ron Yule and Bob Cummins and his two brothers-in-law, Marvin Tapp and Keith Tapp. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects at Parkland Funeral Home, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, September 27, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Alex’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. You must be vaccinated to attend.
