Louise Broderick

Louise Broderick of Red Deer, Alberta passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 68 years.
Louise was born in Vancouver in 1952 and grew up in Burnaby and White Rock, BC. She was committed to fitness and also loved the outdoors. She rode her bike everywhere. She was a member of Living Stones Church in Red Deer.
Louise worked as a dental assistant at Broadway Dental Group in Vancouver for decades. She then became a veterinary assistant, working with birds at the Night Owl Bird Hospital. She also obtained a diploma in Landscape Architecture and, while in Vancouver, volunteered at Stanley Park Ecology Society. After moving to Alberta, she continued this work as a member of the Red Deer Gardening Club. Her own garden is a testament to her commitment to growing native species for everyone to enjoy.
Louise is lovingly remembered by her brother Michael Broderick, her sister-in-law Cecilia, and her nieces Jayme, Tara and Christine. She was predeceased by her sister, Jan Broderick.
A memorial service will be held at Deer Park Alliance Church in Red Deer on October 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is limited to those who receive an invitation; however, the service will be livestreamed here.
